First of all, it is our 8th of 150 posts about 150th Canada Day. This time we bring to you another fine gem, Province of British Columbia has to offer you. When we go to Kelowna, we pass near Salmon Arm and I must share with you, this place is extremely beautiful.


Salmon Arm is a city in Shuswap Country of Southern Interior of Canadian Province of British Columbia. In 2011 Salmon Arm had 17,464 residents. It’s situated on the shores of Shuswap Lake and like the end of Salmon River.

In summer, this becomes a busy place because of what they offer to tourists. You ever thought of renting a houseboat?  At the same time do you want to go for camping? How about enjoying on a beach? What about hiking?

Salmon Arm became a city in 1905 and 2005. In 2005 the town celebrated the 100th anniversary of incorporation.
