About Calgary:

Calgary is a cosmopolitan Alberta city with many skyscrapers, owes it growth to its status as the center of Canada’s oil industry. However it’s still steeped in the western culture that earned it the nickname “Cowtown” evident in Calgary Stampede.  Since Calgary is so close to Banff National Park and other national parks, it is easy to have fun here every single day of the year. While Calgary has a lot of option during the summer, don’t worry. Winter also has a lot of winter sports options too.
